Young Member's Curry and a Pint Night (Curry Fest 2012)

​On the 1st November 2012, we went to the Imperial Pub (Wetherspoons) New North Road to set in motion our Young Members' curry and a pint night, we did not know what to expect, but as a result the night became a curry fest, 12 curries between 6 of us, and a few pints of beer. There was much laughter and debate during the evening and it seemed to be enjoyed by all that attended.

Campaigning.

In September we were invited to the Imperial pub in New North

Road, to hold a CAMRA stall in the pub, to encourage new fresher

students to join and participate in CAMRA activities.

​

We had some interest and managed to talk to a variety

of young individuals about their drinking habits, and their

views on Real ale/Cider. We gave out plenty of free

information and as a result the night seemed to be a success.
