CAMRA Real Cyder meeting, Bristol, Sat 23rd July 2016

 

Any Real Cyder producers or devoted enthusiasts of the same who would like to see and be involved in its currently lacking national promotion are invited to a meeting at 4pm on Saturday 23rd July 2016 in Bristol.

(Venue TBC but within 1/2hr walk of Temple Meads).

 

The meeting will last for around 1.5hrs and for those able, will probably be followed by a visit to a few local Real Cyder pubs where discussion can continue over a couple of jars... The date coincides with the CAMRA Roadshow in Bristol which is 1:30 - 3:30pm (Venue also TBC). CAMRA members are also encouraged and invited to attend the Roadshow beforehand. Gareth MacDonald who is Regional Director for CAMRA in the South West and a very keen advocate of Real Cyder has been invited and will be there.

 

This will be a great opportunity to talk about cyder representation beyond the SW and as part of the CAMRA Revitalisation Project. It could greatly influence how CAMRA and us Real Cyder producers or enthusiasts collaborate to promote Real Cyder effectively in the future. CAMRA is well established and very experienced at promotion and lobbying at all levels, so this opportunity should not be missed. It is also looking for new goals and refreshing ideas to attract and sustain membership levels, so need I say more? With an injection of knowledge and enthusiasm into CAMRA from us this can be achieved, for all our benefit.

 

Producers/enthusiasts from outside of the South West, particularly bordering counties are also welcome to attend. If you are interested please make it known.
