Branch Pub Of The Year (POTY) 2015
The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton, Devon, EX17 5AL
Exeter & East Devon Branch of CAMRA is delighted to announce that our Pub of the Year (POTY) 2015 is The Tom Cobley Tavern, Spreyton.
CAMRA members report and judge Pubs in our area continuously over the course of the year and in March the top six scoring Pubs were all re-visited by members.
The first of the new seasonal awards saw the Pony and Trap, Cullompton win the 2015 urban pub of the year.
The Summer pub off the year was won by The Bridge Inn, Topsham.
The Branch area spans a large swathe of Devon from the Dorset boundary beyond Axmouth in the East to just short of Okehampton in the West, and from Bampton in the North to Dawlish in the South.
The next round of judging is the Rural pub of the year. Voting closes by end of November, votes can be sent to gloscamra_media@yahoo.co.uk or by post to 5 Albert Place Exmouth EX8 1JQ or at meetings.
