On Saturday July 27th 2013, we visited The Bridge Inn at Topsham for Bob Bartlett (Social Secretary) to present the Summer Pub of the Season award.

 

Rhiannon accepted the award on behalf of her mother, Caroline Cheffers-Heard, the landlady of The Bridge Inn.

 

An old English pub retaining all its original features and has never been changed. They serve a variety of real ales on gravity, local ciders and small snacks.

The pub has a benched area with beautiful views overlooking the river, and unspoilt natural flora and fauna. Lovely sunsets with a wealth of fish and local wildlife.
