Most of the breweries below are members of SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers which exists to promote the products and interests of the country's independent breweries.

SIBA South West members also organise their own beer festivals in the area with the Maltings Festival at Tuckers Maltings in Newton Abbot. Usually held in April, it is a showcase for 200+ South West beers and has been running since 1993.

The Ales from Devon marquee, featuring about 25 Devon beers and about 10 Devon ciders, is part of the Devon County Show held in May, and a smaller group of brewers organise a stall at the Exeter Festival of South West England Food & Drink, held annually in Northernhay Gardens, Exeter since 2005.

Local CAMRA members assist in all of these events.
