Winner of Winter Pub of The Season 2013

On Friday the 1st Feb 2013 several of our branch attended the presentation of Winter Pub Of The Season 2013.

​

We would like to congratulate Maria and Alan White who owns the The Pony and Trap in Cullompton, on winning this award.

​

A traditional pub that sells a variety of real ales, up to seven at any one time, and a few ciders all of which are in tip top condition.

Presenting the award was our branch Chairmen Barry Mayles with the assistance of our social secretary Bob Bartlet.

​

The Pony and Trap had a good range of ales while we were there consisting of;

​

• Butcombe - Butcombe Bitter
• Dartmoor- Dartmoor IPA
• Exe Valley - It's Phil's Ale (brewed at Exe Valley brewery, using our late Chairman's reciepe)
• Holsworthy Ales - Muck and Straw
• Otter - Otter bitter
• Ringwood - Old Thumper

The pub is a cosy and local pub with a nice warm real log fire, great ales and ciders, and good home cooked food available.
